I first became a student of the sword in Redding, CA. I hung up my sword for a time, but recently returned to the Hayward dojo to take up training once again. I pursue swordfighting in order to triumph, day by day, over my own limitations and fears. I am grateful to walk this path with other swordfighters, even as I cross blades with them. I look forward to the accomplishments and struggles yet to come in the Western Circle. "For here, what is, is what must be."
